Induction week Selfies and Make-up

Welcome week was almost a taster,  to get you use to the course and obviously to meet new people in the same shoes as you.  I think the fun part was when i was ordering my kits, i couldn't wait to see what kind of make-up products there was in the kits. Mac, Kryolan/Charles Fox, Illamasqua  and a hair kit with a head dummy inside which i named her Dottie that was the name that came into my head. We first went around southampton visiting the make-up places, Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Mac, Laura Mercier they were all really exciting, and the teams as well really helped us me and my friend Anna Lenton. We found the best sellers and we even got a sample a woman gave to us from smashbox which was great. It was quite funny because we had to take pictures of each place and we felt scared to stand in a shop and take pictures and it was really busy. I loved the make-up and the colours were fabulous so many beautiful colours and so many products that it was like being in a candy store. It just made me want be part of the team, it made me want to like get involved somehow. We also took pictures of the art place but what i think was most important was getting to know others, and of course getting to know our tutors since they are the ones who will see us through the degree. After the selfies and the make-up i was less anxious about the course and me and my friend Anna connected really well, like i do with most of the people on my course already.  It  was definitely  a good way of getting to know people.
